Again, nothing he can’t handle, but it does make the whole thing a little odd sometimes.This can be made a tad more difficult if her majesty takes the opportunity to have a guard slip him his next assignment while he’s there visiting you.To you, although she is incredibly powerful, she is still your grandmother, but with Ciel you always sense a slight nervousness - not that he doesn’t like her or anything, far from it, but he finds it quite difficult at times to look at her as a family relation rather than an employer.The other thing to consider is how the Queen views each of you.It is all just speculation though, as no real information ever gets leaked out.This leads, as you might expect, to no small amount of talk among the people of London, all trying to work out who this boy earl and his butler dressed all in black actually are and what their regular business is with the palace.Ciel can move freely about London and not get recognised by every person in the place, but there isn’t exactly a back door to get into Buckingham Palace.Family dinners with your relations are certainly no less exciting than when you visit Phantomhive manor.It all seems quite ridiculous to Ciel, though he’d never say that to you for fear of both your reaction and if word should get back to the Queen, who is no doubt very pleased that her guard dog and her granddaughter are betrothed.None were successful of course and quite frankly, you couldn’t help but think they were incredibly poorly planned out, but then again it meant you were still able to go on your way to lunch so you weren’t complaining too much.Every so often, you end up having to face some riot or another where people decide their going to make their feelings and unrest known, and far more occasionally, there has been an assassination attempt or two.That said, things can and do go wrong as well.People practically line the streets at times all in hope of getting a glimpse of you, perhaps one of the closest people to the Queen they will ever see At best, they stand and cheer for you, no small amount of British flags waving through the air in a show of their admiration.So Friday afternoon tea or whatever other meals you two share usually end up taking far longer than they should because London’s doting public won’t let you get out of the city.Ciel’s private life is no longer particularly private as whenever you travel anywhere, you have to have a whole entourage with you for protection, in case something goes wrong, etc.This is nothing Ciel cant handle of course, he’s dealt with far worse things, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t cause a few sticky situations at times.That would be an incredibly interesting situation because as you say, Ciel is supposed to be very much out of the public eye whereas you as a princess have no choice but to be in it all the time.Aww thank you!
